Serial 3A - Spearhead from Space [1 - 4]

• First appearance of the Third Doctor.
• First reference to the Doctor having two hearts.
• First appearance of the Autons and Nestene.
• Claims to be a doctor of practically everything.
• The Doctor refuses payment to work with UNIT.
• The Doctor mentions knowing Delphon, a language based on eyebrow movement.

Serial 3B - (Doctor Who &) The Silurians [1 - 7]

• The Doctor meets the Silurians for the first time.
• The Doctor find a globe and files "with particular reference to the Silurian era."  He calls that story's monsters "The Silurians."
• The Doctor suggests that the small planet that the Silurians feared was the Moon.

Serial 3C - The Ambassador of Death [1 - 7]

• The Mars Probe 7 was sent to Mars, and when that mission failed, Recovery 7 was sent to find out what happened.

Serial 3D - Inferno [1 - 7]

• Contact with ooze released by Professor Eric Stahlman's drilling causes humans slowly transformed into primitive green beasts.
• The TARDIS accidently sends the Third Doctor to a parallel timeline.
• The Doctor used Venusian Akido.
